In 1789 Gottfried Leibniz published a paper announcing his invention of the binary code. Twenty-four year later, after a Jesuit in Beijing sent him illustrations of the Chinese trigram and hexagrams, Leibniz published a second paper crediting the Chinese with inventing the first binary code.
The explanation for Leibniz’s remarkable claim had to await the advent of the digital revolution in the 20th century. In the 1920s, the so-called father of the information age, Claude Shannon, realized the binary code was ideal for the design of electronic circuits, the precursors to electronic chips. He used the binary number 1 to mean positive (on, an electric current) and the binary number 0 to mean negative (off, no electrical current).
Moreover, Shannon realized we can assign “arbitrary” values to the binary code. A string of binary numbers can represent data, sound, still and moving images, or any symbol. If we agree on the given attributes, he reasoned, it becomes a standard. One of the first such standards was the ASCII code for computer keyboards. The binary number for the capital letter A is 01000001.
The Chinese binary code also uses “arbitrary” attributes. The whole and broken lines, equivalent to 1 and 0, denote positive and negative, as well as a wide range of other generic concepts that can be classified as either positive or negative: day-night, male-female, growth-decay, etc. The trigram and hexagram, combinations of whole and broken lines, are “gradations” of these two generic values in discrete, binary steps.
The ancient Chinese conceived the binary code after realizing that nature itself is a binary phenomenon, a constant interaction between mutually dependent opposites — growth-decay, advancing-retreating, ruler-ruled, action-inaction, etc. All aspects of Chinese civilization, from Confucianism to martial arts and health to aesthetics, were based on harmonizing binary opposites.
In the 1940s, Leibniz’s claim came full circle. The scientist Norbert Wiener developed cybernetics, the basis for the automatic pilot and many other computerized systems. Cybernetics is derived from the Greek word meaning “steersman.”
The cybernetic logic in autopilots “steers” an aircraft to its programmed destination. It does so by navigating between various binary parameters — left-right, high-low, fast-slow — to fly the shortest route from A to B. If side-winds take the aircraft off course, the autopilot takes corrective action to restore the “golden mean” between the binary boundaries set by the navigator.
Finding the golden mean between binary opposites is also at the heart of the I Ching, the ancient “manual” to the Chinese binary system. China’s rulers routinely consulted the I Ching to set the course for the ship of state. And people consult the I Ching before making key decisions by weighing a sequence of binary choices.
No doubt the binary world view of the Chinese will reveal itself in the next (very) big thing in the computer sciences, artificial intelligence. And like the AI community elsewhere, the Chinese will face one of the biggest challenges confronting AI today — harmonizing analog and binary. The binary roots of Chinese culture have been obscured by recent modernization, but they are not lost. Having grown for 3,000 years, they permeate the subconscious of all people raised in a Confucian environment.

The what and why and how, these three questions should always be asked before you decide to do anything, and now we dive into our subject


What is a Bucket List:

A lot of people recognize this term as it has become a popular trend over the years and especially among the young generation for his coming years, or the eldest generation to not have any regrets concerning their lives
And you should also have one but first, what is it
 it is a list of all the goals you want to achieve, dreams you want to fulfill and life experiences and adventures you desire to experience before you die or any past actions you want to do or undo

in its shortest definition
it’s to do what you have always stopped yourself from doing for any kind of reasons.


Why should one create a Bucket List:

Ever felt that your days are passing you by without any tangible output to speak of?

What did you accomplish in the past 3 months? What are your upcoming goals for the tomorrow? Next week? Next 3 months?

 Look at the things you did and the things you’re planning to do next Do they mean anything to you if you are to die today?

Having a bucket list reminds you of what’s really important so you can act on them.

Even if you frequently live by goals or to-do lists, they are probably framed within a certain social context e.g. performance, career, health, academic excellence.

 A bucket list opens up the context. It’s a forum to set anything and everything you’ve ever wanted to do, whether it’s big, small or random or undoable.

And here are six reasons that do it justice other than the main ones we gave above why you should have a bucket list:

A bucket list gives you a purpose in life. It's something you know you want to do. It gives you goals to reach for, something to get out of life.
It gives you something to focus on. How many times have you drawn a blank on what you want to do with your free time? Now you know. Got some time off coming up or a free weekend? Why not check something off your bucket list? The list gives you something to work towards.
It's important to set goals for yourself, and a bucket list does just that. You don't have to give it a time period either. The list goes on for the rest of your life, there's no rush. Most of us fall through with our New Year's resolution, I know I hardly ever stick to mine. I do better with long term goals, something that I know I want to do, but don't feel like I'm forced to do.
Life is all about making memories. Your bucket list certainly will give you plenty of them. They will be memories you will hold onto forever, and give you great stories to tell other people. It'll be nice to look back on the things you've accomplished, something to make you feel proud of yourself.
With exploring comes learning which is always a good thing. Learn a new language, learn a new culture, learn about anything. Put yourself out there. Discover, explore, learn.
The last reason to make a bucket list is that it's never ending. You can always come up with new ideas, always try new things. It's not a list that's meant to be completed.
I highly recommend creating your own bucket list. I believe that it's definitely worth it. Set goals for yourself, get out there and discover something new. Make the most of your life.
If that doesn’t push you to make a bucket list, I don’t know what will.



How to Create Your Own Bucket List:


If you don’t have a bucket list, I highly recommend you to create one.

 How much will it cost? Zero. How long will it take? Probably 30 minutes to an hour, or more if you get really caught up in the writing.

What do you stand to gain? Significant clarity and focus on what you want from your life. It’s an invaluable exchange.

Now, take out your pen and paper or open up a text document.
Start writing down what comes to mind as you read these questions:

·        What if you were to die tomorrow? What would you wish you could do before you die?

·        What would you do if you had unlimited time, money and resources?

·        What have you always wanted to do but have not done yet?

·        Any countries, places or locations you want to visit?

·        What are your biggest goals and dreams?

·        What do you want to see in person?

·        What achievements do you want to have?
·        What experiences do you want to have / feel?

·        Are there any special moments you want to witness?

·        What activities or skills do you want to learn or try out?

·        What are the most important things you can ever do?

·        What would you like to say/do together with other people? People you love? Family? Friends?

·        Are there any specific people you want to meet in person?

·        What do you want to achieve in the different areas: Social, Love, Family, Career, Finance, Health (Your weight, Fitness level), Spiritual?

·        What do you need to do to lead a life of the greatest meaning?

Just write things that have been in your mind since you were a child, or things that have been in your heart and you couldn’t bring them to the open

maybe you saw something and wanted it but couldn’t have it at the moment, Save for it!
Just be honest with yourself when writing it and think about yourself only but if you have a partner double the fun!

Samsung Galaxy S10 pre-orders break record in US


     

 The Samsung Galaxy S10 is doing very well in sales and the phone just launched on Friday. Following today’s earlier news about the Galaxy S10 breaking the UK’s Samsung pre-order record, the US is also seeing record pre-orders for the Samsung flagship.

We don’t have the statistics on which colors were the most popular, but the US appears to be very fond of Prism White. In the UK, it was Prism Black. Interestingly enough, the most expensive model, the Galaxy S10+, made up 57% per total pre-orders in the US, the same percentage as we reported for the UK



Apple must certainly feel the heat with this news, the competitor didn’t go out with as much of a bang as in previous years, yet Samsung is breaking its own records.

GeForce GTX 1660 and 1650 rumored to arrive in March and April starting at $179


More midrange Turing cards could be on the horizon ..


Now that Nvidia has popped the cork on a cheaper version of Turing that lacks RT and Tensor cores, the question is, will the company bolster its non-RTX lineup with more models? We don't have a definitive answer, but rumors of two new parts—GeForce GTX 1660 and 1650—are starting to pour in.
We've seen these models show up in leaks before, though now that the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti is official (and is one of the best graphics cards on a sub-$300 budget), there is a bit more credibility to the rumors. Just as we saw marketing materials for the GTX 1660 Ti pop up before its release, Andreas Schilling from Hardwareluxx has posted what he claims is the first batch of marketing images for the GTX 1660 and 1650.
Also  Digitimes has passed along some information it purportedly obtained from "industry sources." According to those sources, the GTX 1660 will launch on March 15 starting at $229, followed by the GTX 1650 launching on April 30 starting at $179.
Depending on how performance breaks down, those prices would put added pressure to AMD's Radeon RX 570, 580, and 590 cards, and of course there is still the GTX 1660 Ti and RTX 2060 to contend with at higher price points.
As it relates to graphics hardware, the midrange and low-end are where most gamers mingle. We see this represented in Steam's monthly hardware and software report. As of January 2019, the combined usage of RTX 2080 Ti, 2080, and 2070 is a fraction of a percent, whereas most gamers run a GTX 1060, followed by a GTX 1050 Ti and 1050.
We can only guess at the specs of the upcoming cards, assuming they exist. Schilling surmises the GTX 1660 will use a cut down version of the TU116 GPU found in the GTX 1660 Ti, also with 6GB of memory. The GTX 1650, meanwhile, could wield 4GB of slower and cheaper GDDR5 memory, on a narrower memory bus.
It's all speculation at this point, though we'd be surprised if the GTX 1660 Ti ended up being the only GTX Turing card when all is said and done.
